Back Home

Something that I haven't quite wrapped my mind around yet is the fact that it is already February (the 7th to be exact). The first month of the new year has come and gone; I've interned, eaten my weight in food over Chinese New Year and towed two months worth of shopping back home.

Now what?

As amazing as it is to be back home, it feels anticlimactic. True, there's nothing quite like sleeping in your own bed for the first time in months and don't even get me started on the weather - clear blue skies and sunny - but having spent the last two months travelling around China, meeting friends and family, the thought of going back to the monotony of university, well lets be real here, it sucks.

I have a month before the tedious, assignment-filled 'learning' they call 3rd year begins, and currently I have no concrete plans.

Let's see what happens.
